SUIT YOU
One thing my mother failed to tell me ( I learnt most things I know from reading the backs of cereal boxes) is that owning one of these: ![]()
Does not make you look like:
No matter what the establishment says about swimwear cuts for various body shapes, to look good half-naked you really have to look good half-naked. Not to worry, we are all in the same absolutely flabulous boat.

You’ve got the Music in Me
This takes a little wander off the beaten clobber track … but when music and fashion are as intertwined as they happen to be, I’m going to persist with it anyway. There is one ‘get to know you’ question that always fills me with dread. I can happily talk for hours about films and debate the effect Neighbours had on my student generation, but when some poor fellow asks ‘What music do you like?’ I feel as though he’s just asked me what kind of knickers I’ve got on. I immediately clam up, grasp for straws and mumble something about The Beatles. I find it to be such a personal, intimate question, revealing your soul for all to see. Opening yourself for immediate judgement (you know we all do it…Who could take anyone seriously who does not own Peter Andre’s ‘Mysterious Girl’?) I wouldn’t say my musical taste was too flawed (there are a few humdingers shuffling around) but since I’ve come to trust you, I can tell you now my favourite song has to be… ‘Wuthering Heights’ by Kate Bush. It is groundbreaking and you know it.
